3rd Show of Accessories is a success in terms of media coverage, attendance, and business.
An event organized by Emerson Fittipaldi and Megacycle Eventos which received 64 thousand visitors.
The third edition of the Show of Accessories , the largest event in Latin America, happened at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, Brazil. Over 64 thousand visitors attended the Show, which started on March 29th and went on until April 2nd. In an area of 25 thousand m² , 90 booths showcased over 180 brands. With over 380 customized cars, 38 new product launches, the show also had the Tuning Parade, showcasing 180 customized cars belonging to the public.
The organization of the show also held a contest to choose the Best Car of the Show, which included 500 members of the media. The chosen car was the Zafira which was shown at the Bravox booth. The car was chosen among 10 finalists, which were:
Emerson Fittipaldi also gave a prize to the Mercedes-Benz at the Controlsat booth.
The prize for best booth was given to Volkswagen Tech, which showcased the new Golf. VW Tech is Volkswagen's Accessories Brand, and showcased many cars customized with VW original accessories. GM innovated with a special attraction: the live customization of an Astra which occurred during the event. In 93 hours, the vehicle was totally modified, on all aspects , including a new paint job, done inside the GM booth at the Show.
On the 2nd of april, last day of the Show, Emerson Fittipaldi unveiled the finished car to the public, giving the car a special trophy. The automotive accessories industry accounts for R$6.5 Billion in annual revenues. During the Show, around 2800 businessmen and people of the industry visited the show professionally.
Volkswagen Tech, was the Official Sponsor of the Show of Accessories
and the VW Fox the Official Car. Mangels Wheels was the Official Wheel of the Salão de Acessórios.
